Day 3 Dan Shui

淡水，a place that very peaceful. The 1st impression that i had when i just step out from the MRT. It started raining when we depart. Taiwan rain can continue whole day non stop. It really dizzling....we can feel the rain very light....it can follow the wind floating....


And the dan shui river....it become so clean compare last time i visited. The river side become a recreation park. All this scene and feeling i will descript at the Day 9.


Let's talk about the 真理大学。





Inside the university site, it is very big scale compare to UCSI but it similar with our local university, got it's own landscape, green space, building in cluster. When we walk until the middle of the side, suddenly pop up some single storey old building which surprisely match with the surrounding building. I think maybe the architect built the new building they consider the colour, material of the old building.


Inside the side, 风景真的山名水秀，建筑巧妙的融合了景观设计，建筑之间都有不同的设计，可以感受到在建筑物重重包围的大学范围里，有着大自然存在的空间。让人可以在进入学堂之前在大自然的疗效下保持愉快的心情进入学堂。






中国式的院子设计，让真理大学增添了一丝丝古老的气息，进而制造出一股严肃，尊敬的氛围。


The building also using raw material as and the unfurnished facade. It blend to the surrounding succesfully.

The water features had masking the noise from the vehicles or unwanted sound and create a smooth, continues sound. The scene also giving people a very peaceful feeling.

The Entrance of the secondary shool. The guard house is a old building style which like gorthic style with the tinted glass and Arch. But the building top was using the chinese roof tiles as the materials.

不知为何这个建筑让我觉得很funky,有可能是因为它的颜色和形状在这么严肃的地方显得很玩味，很调皮。

真理大学，一间古老的建筑物，融合了东方和西方的元素。

The building using the opening and the parapet wall as the western element.

But the buiding design is using east country concept. The building looks mix and match at the roof part but i can imagine when that period it done the construction, youngter will feel it is very modern and creative but mayb some 保守派 will reject the idea. But it survive until now i think the idea was succesfully accept by the local people.

Although the site didn't provide a pathway for pedestrian, but it is still user friendly. And the road was shaded by the the trees. But because that day we walk there was raining day. I am not sure when 12pm the sun directly shine on the floor, is it can shaded by the trees.

The place is Jay Chou 1st movie scene. It really looks like a school, the long long corridor. The green pocket. And the little model of 椰林大道。

看看学校跟后面的建筑，有很大的差别，学校就像长辈，端庄，后面右边的公寓就好像一般上班族，规规矩矩，生活了无生趣，就好像它的设计一样，后方的公寓，就像设计师，高贵，有型，但是一旦过于花俏就会变得不伦不类了。There is 3 type of different style and period building having contrast in one view. It create a time line to telling that how the design tranz going and there is some element we need to reserve.

This photo show that the pathway and the green landscape at the middle of the building.

这是三合院概念，the pathway without covered look more blend into surrounding but the connection from a building to another building is depend on this pathway. we all wet because of the rain and the pathway didn't provide proper rain cover. Although there is a five foot way along the building.

The five foot way is sames like our country. The only different is our school is without column but theirs is with the arch column. It is more decorative and more designable compare to our goverment school design.

The middle part of the building. From the roof , it giving me a feeling like the japanese solder hat. It s very Japanese style and it combine with chinese style and western style. It is quite complicated but it is a good try. The building nothing much change. After add in the landscape, the building look more 书香气息

现代的建筑融合了古代的元素，很有东方的味道，但是如果只是小小的decoration会比apply on the whole buiding more interesting. The chinese element once apply on the whole building. It giving people a big sculpture or a big size of a chinese element on the earth. 感觉有点突兀。而且感觉会有很多空间变成死角。

After that we manage to go visit 故宫。The design is using the big open space. It is like the China 紫荆城，but the scale is smaller. The building had been modify and become air conditional control and the interior part will become modern design. It is very nice scene cause the back will be the mountain and the rive at the front .

Before we went back , we had visit the underground street at the MRTstation. It is a place similar like Sungei Wang, It is suitable for teenager to shopping there. But the very confusing thing is , there is a entrance that it link to another part of the underground which selling branded and more expensive thing. It a bit like the linkage connect from Sungei Wang and Lot 10. The escape door is provided along the street. When fire happen, i think everybody can easily run out from the place which i think it is very successful for the stree.

After that we went back to our lovely hotel.
