Day 5 Ying Ge

莺歌出名的就是陶瓷，so the 1st place we go visit is the museum of tiles in Ying ge.
When we arrive...i feet that it is very Tadao Ando Style. the building was very large. But the surrouding building is full of concrete. Only the front part included a waterscape. It make the surrounding a bit hot.

The ceiling using skylight to welcome the natural lighting enter the building. The louvered create a different pattern to the floor in different time of a day. And the ceiling looks quite height i think to filter up the heat that the sunlight brought in. This building consider sustainable with the design.

The height volumn of the Lobby area. Although i said it is very sustainable but with this height volumn of Lobby area, how many horse power of air conditioner it need to supply ? And It is fully glass wall, it bring more sunlight and heat to the interior. With the sunlight in Malaysia, it definately need a curtain blind to block sunlight.

This is the waterscape that located at the front of the building. It is located at the lower ground floor. when i stand on the ground floor, i feel that the heat from the water.可能是蒸发作用,感觉在作面膜. The waterscape look simple, but it really make the building more heirachy.

This is the back of the building. There is a ramp that connect to the front part. The building in triangular shape normally will create a lot of wasted space. But in here it put in the staircase so it save the wasted space. The sharp angle of the building create a nice angle for vision. The open space area if any function maybe can utilized it as a open space party or 园游会. Or maybe bazaar. But make sure everyone need sunblock.

After Hui Hui told me this corridor internal very hot, i found out there is not much function for it. It is very hot cause the air cond can't reach the corridor and it is glass. And with the angle and the view that it provide is not much interesting. If the corridor slop to 1st floor or more higher, mabe it can view the garden at the back :)

This is a skylight for the lower ground floor.

This is the back of the museum. The height floor is office and the ground floor is suvinor shop. I think i seperate the space very cleary. Private space on top which need to pass through a staircase.

This is the bottom part of the 'wing'. It giving a sun shaded palce an it also act as a entrance roof. The design is amazing.

This is the back. The very large scale of garden. It really nice. But i can't find a shaded place for sit. I think it suitable for evening time for a walk or as a very big playground.

See...how far your playground can be.

This is another angle of the suvinor shop and the museum. The angle of the suvenor shop can lead the visitor back to the museum clearly.

After that we went to the 老街,but i didn't took the photo cause i though it is a tiles street. The building look not old at all.

Below this photo if they told me is old street i might believe.

This street is very classical feel. Using brick and arch as the material and element for the street. The 5 foot way which i think influence from SEA country is useful for sunshade. From the photo we can found out mayb the interior of the building is changing to modern design. The brick is only the facade. The building at the back show that the facade using brick and the back using white painting.

This is the 清水祖师庙, the outlook is very '凤', i don't know why this word suddenly pop up from my mind. Maybe is the roof giving me a feeling like 凤眼. I learn it from History, it is a hokkien style building. The building have more than 100 or 1000 bird deco at the column, roof beam and so on... If you have time u you can count for it!

This is the ceiling of the main part. You can see how 'gold' is the ceiling. 从屋顶的骨节看来,有点像骨头, 注意看中心点,觉得有点像怪兽鱼的吸盘,长满倒勾. The paint is few coat, at last only apply the gold coated on it. And the building was rebuilt and restore before.

This Miss is introducing the element of the building.

After that we go to 元智大学, This is the sculpture in the university. It giving a sun shaded place for the student. And different from the 中原大学, all the building is very modern in style. 感觉这地方很讲求气派,又有一股新的气息.

看看他们的建筑,很有气派. The building is in modern style and not looks like a university. The building using a slunting wall continues from top to the bottom. It can provide sun shading for the entrance part. And the student there no need to wear uniform or formal cloth.

This is another building that stand at the middel of the round about.

At last is the Library. The entrance facing the west. The building shape like capture the sun light from west, focus and narrow down the lighting into the building. But the is a square space at the 1st floor which fully explore to the sunlight. Maybe the space need heat and sunlight. It casting a long and nice shadow on the staircase which i think it is the purpose to design the shape. The library entrance is at the ground floor right hand side. From this university, we know that we no need to cut model so hard, we just need to do in autocad and send to a computer then it will produce the work for us.

After that i forgot where we going....But at last we all going back to Hotel and packing our luggage and sent to 中原大学, cause we are going to Tainan on the next Day~
